How To Contribute

1. Before doing any work, contact the person responsible for the project that you would like to contribute to and tell him or her:
   • The name of the project or what you would like to contribute to.
   • Explain what you would like to add, improve, maintain, package, or work on (do not do any actual work at this point)
   
   
   
2. You should then receive a response that outlines the work and responsibilities involved. At this point you will be asked (or should ask yourself) how much time you can or are able to contribute.
   
   
3. If you agree/accept the outline, then you will be sent the most recent version of the project's source (not available on the public FTP, unless otherwise noted). You may also be given a time frame in order to complete the work by, if you cannot complete the work by this time frame then please let the person responsible for the project know about it and make futher arrangements.
